PE Conference

Eastwood Village Primary School has engaged in the promotion of the Active School’s project since 2023 to support pupils in developing physical literacy skills and promote good health. The successes of the project have been celebrated by all stakeholders of the school community. Pupils remark how they enjoy being fit and healthy and are getting better at a range of sports, through the daily practice and opportunities presented to them each day.

Children at the school now show visitors from around the country how they are active at break times and lunchtimes.

The school’s successes in this initiative were selected to be presented as a Case study to PE leaders in the region in a recent PE conference on 16th January at Rotherham United’s New York stadium.
