Our Inspirational Mentor Award Winner

We are thrilled to announce that Clare Baldi, one of our dedicated leaders at Eastwood Village Primary School, has been honoured with the Inspirational Mentor Award for 2023/24! This prestigious recognition celebrates Clare’s outstanding mentorship and her remarkable contribution to the growth and success of students on placement at the school.

As part of this honour, Clare was invited to join the VIP platform party at the upcoming Graduation Ceremony, where she witnessed the graduates crossing the stage to celebrate their achievements. The invitation is a testament to her invaluable role in shaping the next generation of teachers.

The student who nominated Clare shared heartfelt praise:

“Clare’s guidance has been flawless throughout my placement with her. She made me feel very welcome from the first day of my placement and was quick to provide me with all the information I needed to succeed in the school.

As I have progressed through the placement, she has expressed genuine belief in my potential to become an outstanding teacher, and her advice and support has helped build my confidence to a point where I too believe that I can achieve this.

No matter what, she has always made herself available if I have any questions or concerns and has made sure to check in on my well-being at every stage of my placement. Her assistance in setting targets for my development has made sure that I am constantly being challenged and broadening my knowledge and abilities. I cannot thank her enough for all the help, support, and guidance she has provided me. I could not have found a better mentor if I had tried.”
