We have carefully constructed the Geography curriculum in order to spark a curiosity and fascination about the world but also to help the children develop their own sense of identity. We enable this to happen by ensuring that our enquiry led topics are centred around 7 key concepts – Place, Space, Environment, Scale, Change, Interconnections and Sustainability. Our seven key concepts are revisited throughout each school year and children build upon their previous knowledge with each topic. Our enquiry questions allow children to draw all of their learning together from the start of the topic.
